About Us
Translational Vascular Medicine group was founded in 2019 by Ljubica Matic as PI and Group Leader. The group works under the umbrella of Vascular Surgery at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery (MMK) and belongs to the Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM) at KI. We currently have 8 members with international backgrounds and a mix of different expertise (molecular and cell biology, biomedicine, animal microsurgery, pharmacology, bioinformatics, clinical students, etc). The Group is located in BioClinicum 8th floor, KI Solna, sharing the premisses with other groups from the KI Cardiovascular Program (CVP).
